Project summary

The scheme comprises the development of a new Logistics Park close to Junction 4 of the M61.

The works comprised the construction of the new Phase 1 access road from the Salford Road roundabout into the main site. This included carriageways, footpath, verges, access linking various future site developments, access to future Phase 2 development areas and various site elements including site wide drainage, electrical, gas, water, street lighting and all associated works. The works also involved crossing a 36” Gas main and also crossing the Thirlmere Aqueduct.
